Cathy,

A great contributor ignites the flame that inspires action, and guides that action on its course.

From the moment you arrived at the University Students’ Council, you made immediate and lasting contributions. You were the steady hand at the wheel of a ship that navigates changing winds each spring.

As the worldwide Western alumni community learned of your retirement and departure from the USC, we felt the immediate need to extend our warmest congratulations and our sincere ‘thanks’ for everything you have done for us, this organization, and this University.

Those that have worked with you over the years know the critical role you played in evolving the organization’s governance structure. Your keen eye for effective organization leadership and transformation helped to stabilize the USC’s finances. And your passionate care for the needs of all students at Western guided a new age of student-centred support programs and thoughtful business enterprises.

A General Manager by title, but so much more to all Western alumni who know you. Thank you for your friendship, your guidance, your mentorship, and your expertise. You likely don't even know the impact you've had on each of us.

Sincerely,

Western Alumni USC Alumni Chapter
